I made it easy on myself and ordered pizza for dinner & just had some fruit & veggies with a few jars of candy for dessert.

I wish I would have taken a picture of the whole spread. It looked so nice with all of the plates, napkins, metal buckets with drinks.  All the details are missing.  I’m so disappointed.   I tend to do

that.  Super bummed. Next time around.  The next few pictures are from the party.  I had a little egg emptying station.  And the table with the crafts.

It was definitely a success.  The kids were happy and had a blast.  I host this every year.  It’s always a fun way to welcome Spring.  So thankful for a nice day.  One year I had to have it inside.  That makes it a little difficult when you have a lot of kids.  I learn every year what works & what doesn’t.  This year I split the kids up.  Kids who were 10 & up went across to my mother in laws to find their eggs.  Then I let the really young kids 2-7 go first in the back yard.  They were all allowed to find 15.  Once they were able to get a head start, I let the 8 & 9 year olds go.  It went so much smoother.  The bigger kids weren’t just picking up the eggs in the lawn.  They actually had to go & find them.  I think I hid them pretty hard.  Not everyone got their 15.

One tip I wanted to share a tip about stuffing the Easter eggs. I don’t know about you but I get so tired of all of the candy. In addition to some candy, I used: stickers, tattoos, money, bouncy balls, balloons, mimi cars, mini stampers.  Basically anything that i found that could fit into an Easter egg.   I stuffed only candy for the oldest kids.

Thanks for inviting us, the kids and me had such a great time! Nick said he had 72 cents in his eggs and he was so happy!

I’m so glad they had a good time. We were blessed to have such a wonderful sunny evening for it.
